Hello everyone, new repository w/ whiteboard!

Hello everyone, My name is JR Chew and I am a new developer for Levi’s company Culturezoo. I’m going to be helping out with TextCommerce a little bit.

Recently, we have set up a repository on Google Code, which you can check out right here. It includes a trunk section which will hold our current stable versions of TextCommerce, a development section for development, and a Whiteboard section that will allow you to download all of the experimental stuff created before it goes into the initial release of TextCommerce. Thats all for now.

    I’m currently working on a shopping cart website for a company and my deadline is the end of July. Do you think this will be released by then or should I look around?

  2. Hi Tim, I’d love to say yes but I’m not sure if we’ll have anything production ready by then. Especially since TextCommerce development is subject to the whim of our current workloads. Anyone who wants to plan on using TextCommerce in the next few months should probably be prepared for bugs and be able to get tinker around with the plugin code.

    So good to hear of progress!
    Is there any further info on loading the current version when using MySQL 5.x (plugin too big)?
    I’m itching to even see what’s been done so far!

  4. I can’t wait until this little gem is available. I’ve been slowly losing faith in Textpattern because I cannot create shopping for my clients.
